What a completely wild story from Ust-Ilimsk, where a woman gave her personal savings to scammers. And there were many of them. up to 26 million rubles. The police of course opened a criminal case. But we think that bank employees who paid and gave the pensioner her savings through the cash register should also be involved. Every day we hear stories about banks blocking "dubious" transactions from Russians, demanding confirmation of the legality of the source of the transfers, and often placing blocks right on pennies. And here the woman goes to the bank for a month, most likely even orders cash, because it is not possible to withdraw large amounts immediately. ATMs also seem to have restrictions on cash withdrawals, but the security service didn't work here either. We are convinced that the police and the central bank are simply obliged to check the bank or banks that allowed the fraudsters to rob a resident of Ust-Ilimsk. We see that Irkutsk Governor Igor Kobzev responded to the situation. He stated that he would be involved in this story. We note that this is not the first time that fraudsters use the positive image of the head of the region for their criminal schemes.
