US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the overnight attacks by the US Air Force on Iran's Keshem Island in the Strait of Hormuz were a "light attack" and do not constitute a renewal of hostilities. Qatar's foreign ministry said Washington and Tehran were considering proposals to end the conflict. "They have no anti-aircraft artillery. We destroyed something last night, (it was) just a light attack, it wasn't a war," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
