Trump: I knew the war would affect the election. I knew the war would affect this (election). But regardless of whether it leaves an impact or not, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. We were aware of this issue when we entered the conflict. We stopped them from getting nuclear weapons, but I can tell you that I wouldn't have done anything different when it came to going to war with Iran. We destroyed their army and I will end the war whenever I want. But it has to be done right. While Trump claims he knew about the possible defeat in Congress, he stressed before the election that the polls were wrong and that the Republicans would win the election.
