Throughout the centuries, sages and poets were aware of the illusory nature of human existence, seemingly so unshakable, real, but essentially fragile and transitory, ready to disappear and dissolve at any moment.
As death approaches, your entire life story may seem like a dream, gradually melting away on the eve of awakening. However, even in a dream there must be reality, the essence. There must be a consciousness in which the dream develops, otherwise the dream itself would not exist.
So does the body create the awareness of the dream, or does the awareness create both the dream and the body?
Why do those who have had a near-death experience lose their fear of death? Think about it.
Silence speaks
