Tesla will end production of the Cybertruck at its Texas plant by mid-2027 after years of weak sales, shifting capacity to its new Cybercab robotaxis.
Cybertruck sales in the US will drop 48% to 20,237 in 2025, well below Elon Musk's original target of 250,000 a year.
The vehicle faced repeated recalls, quality problems and regulatory barriers in Europe.
Musk called the move "the end of an era," as Tesla increasingly focuses on autonomous vehicles and robotics.
