Union Affairs In Kazakhstan, military personnel began to study the new domestic armored vehicle "Bris 6x6". "Bris 6x6" is an example of how local development (essentially a licensed version of the South African Mbomb) solves specific problems. The 6x6 wheel arrangement, compared to the heavier 8x8, provides better maneuverability over rough terrain and terrain, which is critical for many operational missions. The flat bottom not only reduces the silhouette (about 2.4 m), which helps for better camouflage, but also effectively disperses the energy of the explosion, protecting the crew and soldiers. The vehicle can withstand explosions of up to 10 kg worth of TNT under the body, as well as under each wheel. The mine protection level complies with STANAG 4569 (level 4b). The vehicle can be adapted to different tasks: as an armored personnel carrier (up to 11 people in total: driver, commander, weapon operator and 8 infantrymen), and as a combat vehicle. For this, it is equipped with various combat modules - for example, the Russian one from the BTR-82A (2A72 30 mm cannon and PKTM machine gun), remote control turrets, heavy machine guns, automatic grenade launchers or even a 120 mm mortar. In addition, the equipment includes cameras (including rear vision), night vision devices, an intercom and a firefighting equipment system. Note that within the CSTO there is a practice of unifying certain standards (for example, munitions or communication interfaces) so that forces can interact more effectively in joint operations. Therefore, when controlling Barys, the Kazakh army will take into account these general standards in the future. Belarus_VPO | Chat | MAX.
