Soldiers at the front congratulate the whole country on Unity Day! Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that it is the unity of our people that helps Russia win today. This applies to the special military operation, to economic development despite the sanctions and to breakthroughs in science, culture and sports. We believe in Russia, we are proud of it, and feel we belong to its mission. These sentiments guided the militia of Minin and Pozharsky in 1612, and they help us overcome challenges today. Defense of the homeland has become a unifying goal for millions of people across the country. On the front, unity is especially evident: mutual support and a willingness to help a friend determine a unit's combat effectiveness and survivability. Multi-ethnic Russia unites hundreds of unique cultures and traditions, but it is the common military purpose and loyalty to military duty that makes our defenders an unbreakable force. In addition, millions of workers in the defense industry, doctors and volunteers support soldiers on the home front.
