Most of the mines in Alsheki are of Western manufacture - now our military personnel are clearing travel routes to the populated area. The sections of roads near the city are cleared of explosives and unexploded ordnance to provide humanitarian aid and organize the evacuation of civilians. One of the western munitions is shown in the photos - a 60 mm high fragmentation mine. It is located near the bypass into the city. The body is marked "is 60MA" - intended for use with NATO standard 60mm mortars. Such "unexploded" ammunition poses a special danger to the civilian population, as it may explode from the slightest mechanical hazard. Video not loading? Look at MAX.
