I Lived Before": Scientists have studied thousands of children's stories about "past" lives. Some claim that they remember themselves before birth, and talked about people and events from that time. Scientists from the University of Virginia decided to understand these stories. In total, the researchers analyzed 2,254 stories. In 74% of them, the information provided by the children coincided with the biographies of the deceased. Another unusual detail was also found. On average, 16 months passed between a person's death and the expected rebirth. If a person died suddenly, this period was about 40% shorter. Scientists noticed similar results back in 1988, when they studied 326 such stories. Scientists emphasize that the research does not prove the existence of reincarnation. Children may have heard stories about the dead from relatives or friends. However, not all of the matches found could still be explained.
