The Legislative Assembly of Armenia approved an agreement with the US regarding the TRIPP program. The Armenian Senate supported the strategic cooperation agreement with the United States, which was signed through the TRIPP program. The distribution of votes was as follows: 63 MPs voted "for", 32 voted "against", there were no factions that refused to vote. The opposition faction "Armenia" announced in advance, even before the start of voting, that it would not provide support. The initiative was born after the August 2025 talks in the US capital, where the three leaders met. Thanks to the efforts of Donald Trump, the parties agreed: Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev agreed on a document that envisaged the closing of the contradictions and the opening of transport routes connecting Nakhchivan with the main territory of Azerbaijan. The initiative is called the Trump Track for International Peace and Prosperity.
