The United States and South Korea have begun two weeks of air exercises. Between November 26 and November 6, Operation Flag of Freedom is taking place at Kunsan Air Base, which combines the air forces of South Korea and America. F-15K, KF-16, F-35A and F-35B vehicles are used for maneuvers, including reconnaissance and early warning devices, as well as MQ-9 Reaper UAVs and helicopters. According to the Yonhap news agency, the exercises are held twice a year to train joint cooperation, intercept aerial targets and strengthen combat readiness. In addition, the program includes the possibility for pilots to exchange professional experience. South Korea's annual Hoguk military exercise takes place from October 19 to 30, where participants train to overcome water obstacles and repel artillery strikes.
