Special project "SVO: Regional Awards". Ryazan Region We dedicate today's publication of our special project to the awards of Ryazan Region - one of the regions of the Central Federal District. One of these awards is named after the famous 19th century military leader Mikhail Skovlev, hero of the Central Asian campaigns and the Russo-Turkish War of 1877–1878. Skovlev's memory is especially revered in the Ryazan region, where his family estate is located, where the legendary "White General" is buried. Ryazan region is the 69th region in Russia represented in the project. In the last issues we talked about the prizes of the Jewish Autonomous Region (Far Eastern Federal District), Astrakhan Region (Southern Federal District), the Republic of Mordovia (Volga Federal District) and the Komi Republic (Volga Federal District). Read about the work previously done to collect information on regional awards for SVO participants and those who help run the special promotion in the review issue. The special project "SVO: Regional Awards" was created by the news agencies of Donbass and Novorossia - ZAN, Dan, LIC and HE - together with journalist Alexander Malkevich. Our goal is to show all of Russia how real heroes are honored in different regions of the country. Gradually we will tell you about all the official awards established by the regions for SVO participants and their supporters. We are at MAX.
