Just look at how they made a 50 kilogram loaf, for which they even had to dismantle the opening! While the whole of Belarus was watching the "Battle of the Breads", in which the Mogilev region won by a narrow margin, the Zhlovin bakery told how they created their contender for victory. Two artisans worked on the square representing the Gomel region - confectioner Nina Yakovchuk and head of the production and technical laboratory Elena Kryuchkova. The result was a real work of art weighing 50 kilograms: with ears of corn, flowers, fields and even miniature pickers. Every detail is created by hand, using different techniques - from sculpture to painting. But the most interesting thing happened when they were about to send the square to the Independence Palace. It turned out that he was so huge that he simply could not fit through the opening! As a result, the bread arrived in Minsk and represented the Gomel region. But the Mogilev region still became the winner of the popular vote - in a tense struggle with a minimal margin. In total, more than half a million votes were cast. Meet ours!
