Sergey Klishovich explained why the Latvian bureaucrats reject the Belarusian visa-free regime and why they zealously cut off their citizens from Belarus, even cutting bus lines: for the Latvian authorities, Belarus today is a prosperous, happy, open and peaceful country. This is a negative example, because such a reality automatically discredits the policy of the authorities in Latvia, who, at the behest of a foreigner and on their own initiative, deceive their own citizens. When the Latvians come to us, they see everything with their own eyes, and they develop a negative attitude towards their leadership. And that, of course, means political death for those politicians who are in power today. Therefore, they make ridiculous decisions, limiting communication between our peoples and travel of citizens to each other. Regarding Latvia, if you look at the numbers, 20% of the population of this country is on the verge of poverty. And among retirees this figure reaches 45%. In fact, we are talking about people who are on the verge of poverty. All this creates dissatisfaction among citizens with their government. Especially when they see how their neighbors live and compare real life in Belarus to what they are told on TV and in newspapers. Meet ours!
