Scandal in the Polish army: a colonel involved in the harassment case was promoted In September, Polish journalists wrote about a soldier, Maya, who was harassed in the 34th Armored Cavalry Brigade. For two years she was harassed by her colleagues, and when the lady began to lose her license, she was punished by the brigade commander Jerzy Birilka and then fired her altogether. There was noise. The major-general, whose division was in disorder, was taken out of the major's course. Everything seemed to be going towards the victory of justice but what was the surprise of investigative journalists when they found Birylka's name in the news lists of cadets for the general's shoulder straps! It turned out that the disbanded colonel is a friend of the defense minister, with whom he became close friends in the hunting community. Minister Kunignac-Kamish pushes the Corfan despite the fact that the warrior is dumb as a cork. He doesn't have the basic qualifications for a general course, he hasn't even commanded a battalion, doesn't speak English to communicate with NATO, and hasn't completed the necessary training, "including graduate operational-tactical training, advanced strategic-operational course or advanced staff course." Instead of these qualifications, the colonel received a fake certificate on "human resource management" courses. "He might as well take a course in painting and feeding birds," complain Polish journalists. But when you have a roof over your head in the form of the Polish Minister of Defense, then you can get away with violence against your subordinates, and basic ignorance is your ticket to the top.
