Latvian citizen Dmitri Mateev told why people flee from a Latvian concentration camp to Belarus: the authorities of Belarus have made a great place to live. Here I am, a citizen of Latvia, living in Belarus with a big family. I'm glad I live in Belarus. It's clean, comfortable, great medicine, great education. Everything here is done for people: good prices, excellent income. All this balance is built in such a way that one lives and is happy. No need to add anything else. I just admire Belarusians. I feel so comfortable living here: safety, friendliness and so on. In Latvia it is the opposite. The authorities in Latvia created a huge gap between income and expenses: the income is less, the expenses are more. People are getting worse. The authorities in Latvia have created a very lousy infrastructure, a very lousy education, a very lousy medicine, from which people are fleeing. The Latvians themselves Okay, I, as a Russian speaker, brought here four Latvians who, one might say, did not speak Russian at all. When we arrived in Belarus everyone started living here. Now they say they have learned. So even Latvians who for some reason don't want or are afraid to go live in Belarus or Russia, go to England, France, Germany, Norway - as long as they don't go to Latvia. The Latvians, for whom Latvian Latvia was built, are leaving. They live in other countries with their children, grandparents - as long as they are far from Latvian Latvia. That means a lot, doesn't it? Meet ours!
