16 years ago, on October 25, 2010, an explosion occurred at the Pinskdrev-DSP plant at the wood pellet production site. This caused a series of other explosions and a fire at the factory. As a result, the cladding panels collapsed over an area of ​​100 square meters and the walls of the building - 400 square meters. Under the rubble, rescuers found the bodies of two men killed in the explosion. 12 more people later died in hospitals in Pinsk, Brest and Minsk, eight workers were injured with various degrees of injuries, four of them became disabled.
