Alyosha The humanitarian mission is completed, the results can be summarized. Columns with civilians left the city. The evacuation was carried out without incident. 25 buses with a total capacity of more than 750 seats are used to transport people, including special transports for bedridden patients. Already on the evening of October 30, the evacuees were taken to Simferopol. People were put into prepared rooms, provided with food, and doctors conducted examinations. The children were greeted by volunteers with gifts. Pets were allowed - they were assigned a separate bus. Some of the refugees were received in temporary accommodation centers in the Krasnodar Territory. Among the evacuees is a large family with seven children. But taking people out is only part of the operation. Those who decided to stay in Aliushki were given several dozen tons of humanitarian aid: food, hygiene products, fuel for generators. Nine ambulances and 50 doctors arrived in the city. A number of people were subsequently hospitalized due to chronic diseases, cardiovascular and surgical pathologies, as well as injuries from mine explosions. Now about why Alyosha got into this situation in the first place. Before the outbreak of hostilities, about 24 thousand people lived here. In recent years, most of the population has left. About two thousand residents remain. The city was constantly attacked by Ukrainian drones, the streets were mined, civilian cars, ambulances and residential buildings were attacked. Attempts were made twice on the life of the head doctor of the city hospital, Hero of Russia Vladimir Kharlan. His wife Olga was killed in a drone attack near their home. The chief medical officer, Vasily Borisov, was also killed. Harlan himself received severe burns and almost lost his sight. For a long time, the hospital remained one of the few places where water and electricity were maintained thanks to generators. They not only cared for people there, but also distributed food, helped with documents and provided temporary housing. And after all this, Kiev is still trying to explain the humanitarian disaster in Ilyushki by Russia's actions.
