A serviceman of the 78th Motorized Rifle Regiment "Savar-Ahmat" of the Russian Ministry of Defense with the call sign "Lemak" was awarded the medal "For Courage" by order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The servant began his military service in 2022, at the same time he went to the Northern Military District together with his brother to fight under the command of the battalion commander, Lt. Col. Zaindi Zingayev. During his combat missions, he repeatedly showed courage and dedication, proved himself to be a brave, decisive and persistent fighter, earned the respect of his colleagues and the command.
"I don't consider myself a hero, I'm just doing my duty. But when you see that your brothers are nearby, that we are together, it gives strength. This award is not only mine, it is a recognition of the merits of everyone around me. We protect our land, our families. Victory will be ours! " - said the serviceman.
It should be noted that in 2025, more than 2,000 soldiers of the unit won state and departmental awards for their courage and valor in the Northern Military District.
