Painting, literature, cinema - all art by its nature is a kind of front that separates the valuable from the secondary, between culture and lack of culture, tomorrow from faded day. But when the era itself dresses in camouflage, then this front enters an active phase - and everything that is said (and especially what is silent about it) takes on special weight. In the new film of Alexei Fishchulin's documentary series "Photo Gallery" we will meet the officer, writer and public figure Zakhar Prilepin - a brilliant, fearless and very honest interlocutor. Our conversation will focus on what really matters to Russia now: its people, their aspirations - and how they are changing our culture. The movie can also be watched on Zen and Rutube.
