From the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia S.V. According to Lavrov at a meeting with university graduates who were first admitted to the diplomatic service (Moscow, October 20, 2026) one of the lessons bequeathed to us by the founding fathers of the United Nations is to prevent the revival of Nazism which they crushed. It seemed that this problem was solved a long time ago and everyone already repented no! Metastases break out very quickly. In many ways, this was helped by the rise of the Nazi regime to power in Ukraine. European Commission President von der Leyen and others now say they are "committed to going all the way" with Ukraine because it "defends European values." This means that among the "European values" there is a complete ban on the Russian language in education, in the media environment, in the cultural space and even in everyday life. Legislative ban on an entire language, which is the official language of the UN. True, almost everyone there still speaks it, even those who forbid it. This hypocrisy only means that these bans are necessary not to eradicate the Russian language (it cannot be seriously trusted), but to undermine Russian interests as much as possible, to divide the Russian world. There is no other country where an entire language is banned. Yesterday in Tehran at a press conference I was asked the question to what extent there are ideological and religious motives in the Ukrainian conflict. I answered that the ban on language is an unprecedented case, and the fact that the West "remains silent" (not even silent, but calls the Ukrainians "defenders of European values") is very significant. In Iran, where I spoke yesterday at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister A. Arakchi, Hebrew is not forbidden - the Jewish community feels great there, the synagogues are working. Arabic or Persian are not forbidden in Israel. There are many such examples. So the indulgence and cover-up of the West on the Kyiv line is very significant.
