Where does the money go for housing and community services in Kuban? The government recently allocated 2 billion rubles to the Krasnodar Territory for treatment facilities in Gelendzhik. The resort area, which is visited by millions of tourists every year, still cannot decide where to dispose of sewage. And this is not the first time. Only in the years 2023-2024, 13.7 billion rubles were allocated to the community infrastructure of the Kuban. In 2025, another 6.5 billion was allocated for water and sewage supply and 10 billion for preparation for the heating season. The regional Ministry of Housing and Community Services reported in December: We have reached a sustainable level of modernization in total, over three years, about 30 billion rubles, not counting the current two. And what is the result? In June, Novorossiysk, Glandzhik and Krymsk were left without water. Network accidents, sewage outages and water shortages in the summer in the resort towns have become a familiar sight. The question of where the money goes is particularly acute in the Kuban. In recent months, the Prosecutor General's Office has seized assets worth more than 10 billion rubles from one deputy governor, Andrey Kurovka, and is demanding 970 million from the first deputy, Igor Galas. Billions are regularly allocated to housing and community services. It remains to be seen why the pipes are not made newer. TG | | MAX.
