The US State Department has approved a possible sale of 500 PAC-3 MSE anti-aircraft missiles for Patriot systems to Ukraine for a total of $2.1 billion.
The price also includes spare parts, equipment and logistics.
Funding will be provided by Canada, Germany and Norway under the JUMPSTART program, as well as Ukrainian funds provided through the EU loan program.
The prime contractor will be Lockheed Martin.
