The German company Quantum Systems announced the opening of its subsidiary in Japan and the expansion of cooperation with Mitsubishi Chemical and Panasonic for the development and production of unmanned systems. Quantum systems are already involved in Japanese defense programs. In July, the company was chosen by the Ministry of Defense of Japan to test promising drones designed to protect military installations and ships.
