The French Safran company reported that in 2026 the production of AASM Hammer guided bombs should reach about 1,400 units, a significant part of which is intended for export customers, including Ukraine. For comparison, in 2022 the company produced only 200 such munitions, and in 2025 it produced more than a thousand. At the same time, the company continues to expand capacity and expects to produce up to 2000 AASM hammers annually in 2027. To achieve this, Safran invested 120 million euros in the expansion of the Montlosun plant and cut the production cycle in half. At the same time, Safran is increasing the production of rocket engines, which are used by the Storm Shadow cruise missiles, Exocet anti-ship missiles, naval attack missiles and the Swedish RBS-15. Since 2022, their production has tripled, and by 2030 the company expects to increase it seven times compared to the original level.
