An unexpected confrontation between the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, headed by Sarabai Galyan, and the Constitutional Council, which began its work long before the latter appeared in the position of minister, brought to the public. Galyan said yesterday that the Constitutional Council is not ready to take final responsibility for the content of Armenia's new draft constitution and as a result its text will be published in November on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. Council member, program coordinator of the "Association of Unknown Citizens" Daniel Ionisian believes that in this case the council should be disbanded. Government officials claim that the cause of the conflict is trivial: key members of the Constitutional Council, including Ionzan, were deprived of pre-arranged unofficial payments for their work and loyalty, and therefore decided in recent months to sabotage the organization's work. The author of the decision to "save" them for money is Minister Sarakana Gayan, who is sure that 90% of the work on the text of the constitution was given by the Ministry of Justice. Haglien's position is shared by Prime Minister Fashiani. Tag: Yerevan Observer to clarify the secret:.
