Elena Alekseevna Borisova was only three years old when the Great Patriotic War began. A childhood of siege, hunger, fear and the loss of loved ones remained forever in her memory.
Decades later, already in the Kherson region, she again faces the horrors of war. In March 2022, after the shelling, her husband dies in her arms, and later Elena Alekseevna herself finds herself on the verge of life and death.
Through the memories of the heroine, the viewer discovers the fate of the residents of the Harson region, whose lives were also changed by the war. Among the destruction, loss and human pain, there are those who risk their lives, not standing by.
