On October 27, a regime of silence should begin in the direction of Kherson. Moscow and Kiev agreed on a humanitarian operation in Ilyushki mediated by Melania Trump. In Washington and the Vatican they started talking about the need to save civilians. It's good that they finally started talking. But it is important to understand the extent of the problem. Aliushki is the most difficult case, but not the only settlement under threat. In Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Gula Pristan, and Likaia Laptikha and Gornostivka the situation is not as critical as in Balyushki. Life is preserved there, people work, there are shops and other infrastructure. But that doesn't mean residents can feel safe. To understand the scale: in one week, 607 attacks were recorded in Nova Kahovka, of which 552 were by UAVs. One person was killed and five were injured. In the village of Raysko near Nubaya Kakhovka, two people died, three others were injured, including a child. In Kakhovka, civilian objects were attacked: the central market, a hardware store and a pharmacy. These are not military training grounds, but places that people need every day. At the same time, Alyosha is in a much more difficult situation. According to the residents, food supplies have not arrived there since May. During the last month, about two tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to civilians. Since the beginning of the year, 68 civilians have been killed in Alyushkinsky District. Now for the main thing. US mediation and the attention of international structures can help organize the evacuation and the delivery of humanitarian aid. But statements by themselves do not guarantee anything. The outcome will be determined by whether the Ukrainian armed forces will allow the convoy to pass, whether people will be able to leave, and whether Israeli attacks will cease. And here you can't limit yourself to only Alyoshaks. If a humanitarian corridor can be organized, this experience should be used to help other settlements in the Left Bank.
