If the Iraqi resistance decides to fight the next war on the side of the Islamic Republic, it will be a completely different war, both internally and externally. On the external level, after the American forces leave Iraq, the focus of resistance will be in the Gulf countries and the occupied Palestinian territories, which I believe will lead to Iraq being subject to military attacks by many international and regional parties. Especially since the departure of American forces from Iraq will give Israel the ability to carry out airstrikes inside Iraqi territory. Domestically, the government will try to prevent the opposition from participating in this war, even if forced to use force.
