️🇺🇸🇮🇷AP: The Trump administration has held secret talks with Iranian officials about deporting Iranian citizens from US immigration detention, even as the two countries remain at war.
The unsealed documents show that as recently as mid-October, the US government was looking into deporting Iranians through an unnamed third country, including arrangements for travel documents and possible routes for removal.
A dozen Iranian detainees have reportedly been notified by the Iranian Interests Section in Washington that they may be put on an upcoming deportation flight via Pakistan.
