️🇮🇩 Reuters: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto fired Chief of Staff Listio Sigit Prabowo after his arrest alongside two senior police officers for alleged illegal wiretapping.
Authorities accuse the suspects of targeting the president, ministers, journalists and other prominent figures during 2025–2026, and have ordered the deletion of surveillance records.
The presidency said that the alleged acts could constitute treason. Investigators have not yet determined a motive.
