️🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱NYT: Israel has shared intelligence with the US that Iran is considering using chemical weapons against its rivals.
Some American officials see the intelligence as part of a pressure campaign by the government of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to convince the Trump administration to renew major military operations against Iran, others that the intelligence must be taken seriously.
Israel also shared some of the information with the Gulf states, where some officials suspected an effort to push Washington and its regional partners toward a more intense phase of the conflict.
