️🇺🇸🇷🇺🇶🇦 Reuters: A consortium led by American billionaire Todd Buhly is preparing a securities swap to buy the international assets of Russian oil giant Lukoil, with a deal expected within weeks.
Bank Hapoel on behalf of the consortium purchased billions of dollars in frozen Lukoil securities from Western investment funds to convert the company's portfolio abroad, initially worth 22 billion dollars. The consortium also includes the Emirati investors International Holding Company and Al Hail Holding, as well as the Syrian-Qatari Al-Hayat Brothers and the American International Development Finance Corporation.
