️🇫🇷🇱🇧🇮🇱 Le Monde: French judicial authorities have received complaints accusing the IDF of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during its operations in Lebanon.
One complaint was filed by a French-Lebanese citizen whose mother, sister and two nephews were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential area in Tire in April 2026. His lawyer claims that the attack is part of a wider pattern of attacks against civilian areas and infrastructure.
The case follows another complaint filed by French-Lebanese artist Ali Cheri, whose parents were killed in an Israeli attack in Beirut in November 2024. The accusations were not proven in court, and the proceedings may examine whether the attacks violated international humanitarian law.
