️🇮🇷🇺🇸 Reuters: A senior Iranian official stated that Iran and the US are far from reaching an agreement to end the war, and that Tehran will not accept what it calls excessive US demands.
The official said Iran's conditions must be met if the US wants the Strait of Hormuz reopened, with nuclear talks to begin only after that.
Iran is ready to respond with force to US attacks, in the region and beyond.
The mediators are working hard to narrow the gaps between Tehran and Washington, the official added.
