️🇰🇷 DW: South Korea plans to invest nearly $16 billion in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and artificial intelligence data centers in 2027 - nearly double this year's allocation.
President Lee Jae-myung also announced 4.7 trillion won for advanced AI development, aiming to build a globally competitive national AI model.
The investments are part of a record budget proposal of 615.6 billion dollars, which increased government spending by 12.8%, subject to the approval of the parliament.
