️🇮🇷🇶🇦 Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araji, said that his deputy, who went to Qatar to continue consultations, is returning to Tehran today.
He added that the talks did not reach an agreement or a final conclusion.
He said that the Qatari mediators were in Tehran and that his deputy had gone to move the discussions and take matters back to him.
"The result is - what can be said at the moment is that - in any case, this path is progressing; consultations are taking place.
But we still haven't reached a final conclusion, and whether we will or not depends on the answers to many unsolved questions.
We are making efforts and hope that there is enough rationality on the other side to prefer diplomacy over other ways. But we are also fully prepared for other ways.
The message of the supreme leader showed what our desire is. The mission of our armed forces is now absolutely clear; They are much stronger now than in the previous two wars given the lessons and experience gained in those two conflicts. We are fully prepared to defend ourselves, and at the same time we are ready for diplomacy."
