️🇺🇸 NASA's experimental X-59 supersonic aircraft has begun its first cross-country flight, en route from Edwards Air Force Base in California to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after a year of flight testing.

️🇺🇸 NASA's experimental X-59 supersonic aircraft has begun its first cross-country flight, en route from Edwards Air Force Base in California to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after a year of flight testing.

The aircraft completed more than 40 flights, reaching speeds of Mach 1.53 and altitudes over 56,000 feet.
