️🇱🇧 The Lebanese Minister of Energy, Joe Sadi, on the electricity payments by the state institutions:
"I have instructed the board of directors of Electrísita do Liban to cut off all state institutions that do not pay their debts. The EDL have my full support.
Warnings led to an agreement with the airport management covering immediate payment, postponement of remaining arrears and regular payment of monthly bills. This pressure must continue in all state institutions.
We are asking the state to settle its debts, compensation for exemptions and war reparations in the south in monthly payments. Not loans or treasury advances."
