️🇺🇸🇰🇵 The FBI says North Korea was responsible for stealing more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from the Binance exchange on or around October 29, 2026. The bureau has designated the operation as "TraderTraitor" and is coordinating with the US Secret Service and IRS Criminal Investigation.
The attackers converted the stolen assets mainly to Ethereum, with further laundering expected through decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms and instant exchange services.
