️🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺RFERL: US Secretary of State Rubio has privately expressed doubts that Russian President Putin will attend the G20 summit in December in Miami, despite the Trump administration publicly inviting him.
European diplomats have reportedly put off discussions with Rubio for the past two days in the belief that he does not expect Putin to agree to a deal on Ukraine before spring 2027.
Rubio also described NATO membership as a security guarantee for Ukraine as unrealistic in the short term, as Putin would never accept such an arrangement.
