️🇫🇷 Reuters: Growing disagreements between the main French presidential candidates are splitting the mainstream vote and increasing the likelihood of a runoff between Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Melanchon.
An IFOP-Fiducial poll placed Edouard Philippe at 15%, down six points since September, and behind Melanchon at 16.5%. Gabriel Atal stood at 13%, as tensions grow over who the former prime minister should step aside.
The moderate vote is also split between Raphael Glucksman, Bruno Rittaio and David Lisnard. Macron's allies are urging the candidates to abandon personal ambitions and unite behind one contender ahead of next April's election.
