🇮🇷🇴🇲 UKMTO received a report that a tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz, 25 nm northeast of Hessab, Oman, was approached on the port side by a small boat that attached two explosive charges to the ship's hull above the waterline, when the explosions caused a fire that temporarily caused a fire in the engine room.
The fire has since been extinguished, with the crew safe and no environmental impact reported, as the vessel continues to its next port.
