The Liberian-flagged ship transferred 421 containers from Haifa to Constanta, Romania. All 18 crew members were rescued unharmed and taken to Varna.
The attacker has not been identified. Suspicion has fallen on Russia amid a wave of attacks on commercial shipping in the Black Sea, although Bulgarian authorities have not officially claimed responsibility.
