️🇾🇪🇾🇪🇸🇦 Following a counter-attack, the PLC successfully recaptured the strategic al-Maidan hill from the Houthis on the outskirts of Taiz.
This hill overlooks the Houthis' main supply line towards Taiz. The gains were made possible by close Saudi air support, which succeeded in suppressing the Houthi positions, and allowed the PLC to advance.
Although the hill's capture is strategic, the Houthi siege of Taiz is still in place, with Taiz cut off from the bulk of PLC forces in other parts of Yemen.
