οΈπΈπ»ππΉ NYT: Charred remains have been found in Haiti six days after four Salvadoran aviation technicians disappeared during an ambush while deployed with the UN-mandated anti-gang force, as doctors examine them to determine if they belong to the missing, according to people close to the mission.
Salvadoran President Naive Bucala denied the remains were those of his soldiers, saying they matched a boy, a man much taller than the technicians, and a man wearing part of another army's uniform, while sharing an ID card of a Chadian soldier found among the remains, as El Salvador sent hundreds of special forces to Haiti to search for the four men.
