๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท WSJ: The US evacuated personnel from diplomatic outposts and military bases throughout the Middle East following intelligence that Iranian preparations to attack Americans had reached "advanced stages".
Diplomats and staff were ordered to leave the US embassy in Saudi Arabia and other regional posts, while the State Department updated its travel advisories for 13 Middle Eastern countries due to threats linked to Iran and the Houthis.
The intelligence comes as the Trump administration considers resuming military action against Iran after the Nov. 3 midterm elections. According to the report, the Pentagon's options range from attacks on nuclear facilities and infrastructure to attacks on islands held by Iran, although no final decision has been made.
