๐ฎ๐ท Reuters: October became the worst month on record for attacks on commercial shipping around the Strait of Hormuz, with 28 confirmed and reported incidents.
A total of 113 attacks have been recorded since the US-Israeli war with Iran began on February 28. More than 30 superplanes were damaged during the conflict, including on October 11 alone, about 3.5% of the world fleet.
The actual number of attacks may be higher because some ships do not report incidents, while lucrative freight rates and discounted Gulf oil continue to attract shipowners despite the serious risks.
