️🇺🇸🇯🇴 The US Embassy in Amman issued a security flash: following the October 23 terrorist attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Kfar Hammoud, Karak, citing the Jordanian authorities' report of seven dead and 27 wounded.

The security forces cordoned off the area and are continuing to search for the perpetrators. Security has also been increased in shopping malls, foreign embassies and other places in Amman.

The embassy called on US citizens to remain vigilant, avoid large demonstrations and gatherings, keep a low profile and follow the instructions of local authorities.
