According to Sari, the attacks targeted the Saudi Ministry of Defense in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Aramco facilities in Yanbu and Abha International Airport. He claimed a direct hit in all four locations, claiming that the attack on Dammam airport disrupted air traffic and the attack on Aramco caused a fire. These claims have not been independently verified.

Sari said the actions were retaliation for what he described as more than 2,900 Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks against Yemen over the past 100 days, which he claimed had killed or wounded 562 people. He also warned that any Saudi attack on Yemeni tribes would cause further escalation.
